Unless your in a hurry, take your time, look around for parts at different vendors. Lots to consider. Also give the swap meet a chance. Never know what is out there at the time your looking.
On the other hand, I purchased a Stainless Steel grille for my 37 back about 1999 and its still in great shape. Got it from I&& Reproductions in Ca. Wasn't cheap then and certainly not now but has been worth the money in the long run....vs some chrome job that will crack or blister.
