I'm trying to figure out what carburetor will fit my 216 engine made 1952/53
original it had a Rochester b that I'm not to impressed with, I was thinking of a Carter YF I seen on other posts that models 756, 787, 964,and 2008 would fit 216s
My main question is concerning the governor in-between my Rochester and the intake.
Would it fit on the Carters or do I replace it? Would a carburetor normally come with the governor if it doesn't fit?
Any tips or pointers?
I'm new to this and really need help figuring it out.
