| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | A 216 and a full pressure 235 have the same bolt pattern on the back of the engine, so a 1938-46 bellhousing will work in your case.
My concern is if your 36 uses a standard or master transmission. If it is a standard then the 1938-46 bellhouring will not work.
1936 was the first year for hydraulic brakes.
