Wow - I have never seen a 5 X 2 Edmunds intake! I've seen a 5 X 1 McGurk (I've got one of those) and a 5 X 1 Howard (I've got one of those), but never an Edmunds with that many carbs. Interesting!
The idea you are contemplating is basically the idea used by Harper on their set up. The only problem I see when I look at those type of multiple carb intakes is the fact that there is no heat to the intakes, with water or exhaust. You know, of course, that cuts into the effeciency of an intake of that nature.
