I had no problem keeping the 6 volt battery charged, the charging system is fine...There is a mechanic locally, that suggested to go to an 8 volt battery for a little more cranking power, I listened, thus the 8 volt battery...I am going to replace battery with 6 volt again...Thanks Jerry
