I am replacing both gauges, tank sending unit, and dash gauge...6 volts..
Only a month ago, instead of purchasing a 6 volt battery, I opted for a 8 volt battery just because of the extra cranking power...Is it necessary to put a 2 volt drop resistor to protect the instruments ??? Thanks in advance...
