suggestions? learn to double clutch [upshifting and down] as the 46 4spd is a 'crash box' - no syncro
sounds like you need a new clutch and throwout too!! you prolly also need new bushings and some grease on the pedal cross shaft - prolly went 40 ro 59 years w/o attention
