Tim, that's a fantastic website you have on restoring your AD '47. I finally found a photo of your finished seat and back that pretty well answers my question above. Did you find anything to guide you on it so that you are pretty sure your bench seat matches the original design as far as where the seams are? I see there is no piping whatever in your seats, so presumably that was also true of the original.
One other question--do you know if the '47 had any chages at all from the '46--not just the seats but anything at all?
