Just a suggestion. I was wondering if maybe you held a piece of sheet metal between the side of the box, or cab & the cutting wheel and move it along as a shield to minimize the cutter & grind marks. Could save a lot of body work later. Part of my left rear fender had been welded on and this seemed to work well for me. Hope this helps out.
