The Carter YF that I bought came with the paperwork and was made in August of 1950. Do you think it has a neoprene pump diaphragm or might it possibly be leather? I can't avoid gas with ethanol in the PHX metro area and with our afternoon highs this time of year (supposed to be 116 degrees today)it is hard to avoid evaporation from the bowl.
