i believe the trans is pontiac allthough not original it is about the same year (within 12 months)
its coupled upto a gmc/pontiac (GM7) 347 v8 engine number = A34715028
trans = CA-56 5899
its in what i,m lead to be lieve is a 1955 chevy 3100
VIN NUMBER = M255KO38183
i,d be very gratefull for any help as its a bit rare over here in the UK
