I have what is supposed to be a 327 from a 63 Impala with a powerglide bolted to it.
The number cast into the block is 3849852.
Can someone tell me please what information comes up with that number?
and
I would like to change out the 3 on the tree and install this powerglide.
Is there a certain crossmember I need to be able to use this trans in a 64 C10 short stepper and could someone suggest a floor shifter I should buy?
I picked up a tilt steering from a motor home already.
