I have purchased 2 Carter Weber 2bbls and installed them in my '42 1/2T Pu on a '60 235/Offy intake. I have a problem with the carbs stumbling/popping upon acceleration (appears to be in the primary). It idles great, has a manifold heater and does not have any vacuum leaks. I believe the primary emulsion tube is too restrictive...I need the next size or so. The tubes are stamped 150 for the primary and 250 for the secondary...Is my assumption reasonable? Secondly, where do you find/buy replacement emulsion tubes...I've called a Weber vendor and he won't even talk about Carter Webers! Any suggestions or direction?
