Hy mejia11, if we're talking about a stock 59 Chevy light switch, then remove one battery cable, now pull the switch into the headlights on position, now reach under the dash and find the spring loaded button (opposite side to the wires), depress the button and pull the shaft out of the switch. Now you can remove the bezel nut with a slotted screwdriver, and the switch should now be able to be removed from the dash, hope that helps.
