I have talked with a couple of older rodders at some car shows about doing a column shift conversion to run a four speed muncie manual trans. Im told that with the three speed coloumn r-1, 2-3, would become 1-2, 3-4 and a small shift lever on the floor for reverse. I keep hearing its been done, but cannot find any actual pics of this conversion. Any thoughts on it?
