Thanks for the good info. Do you know of a shop that could regrind a 216 cam so as to use it in an early 235 Powerglide? I would like to use a shop that is familiar with this conversion.

I'd like to locate an old cam and have it reworked for my '53 Powerglide engine.

I checked the Melling website as suggested by Pete52, however they only have a cam for the non-Powerglide '53 235.
