Only Two Bill, kept in the nice warm garage attached to the house also. Got two because
I think I bought the "Light Weight" can long before the Rage. And I think at the time like
most other things that they were cheaper by the gallon then they were by the quart. Heck
I just bought some PPG DAR last week for the grill and bout fell over, list was $55.75
plus the tax for a pint, at that price schedule a gallon would have been $464 rather than
the regular gallon price of $314, that's a savings of around 1/3.
I restored one small round ram 1hp Bridgeport and am restoring another dovetail 2hp
Bridgeport milling machine right now. All of Bridgeports castings since time began are as
rough as a cob or rougher in some spots. They have and still do, fill them heavily at the
factory then sand them smooth before applying that nice smooth gray paint finish they
are famous for. The first one machine was made right after WWII and the paint was in
such bad shape that it needed to be stripped down to the bare castings. It took close to
a gallon of filler to smooth out the base, knee, head and turret. That was a small machine
and the new one I've got is a much bigger machine and it two is going to take quite a bit
of filler before it's ready for the finish. So you see Bill, with out going into one of my short
stories the whole picture isn’t completely clear. That happens every time I try to truncate
the question and that’s why I try to tell a complete story most of the time and end up
posting a novel. Soooooo, all that filler is not going into the '50 as you may think, just a
little dab and as I said any where I'm not to worried about the warpage I'm using a little

and over night I've come to the conclusion that Evercoat no longer makes the
100-156 Light Weight filler and the 100-106 Rage is the newest product. So the
100-156 was probably being phased out when I bought it several years ago.
