Thanks for the input. According to the previous owner, it is a Turbo 400, however per this information it is a Turbo 350. In any event, I would like to properly hook up the cable coming out of the passenger side of the tail shaft. Also, I would like to know what it is. The truck drives and shifts very well without it, however I want to do it correctly.
The carburetor is a 600 cfm Edelbrock with an electric choke. I do not have the cable mounting bracket nor do I know what it looks like.
I will double check the pan shape and I appreciate the cheat sheet on tranny pans. It is a good quick reference piece to identify tranny types.
