Yesterday I was headed out to help a friend patch a hole in the roof, so the truck was great for hauling my 24' ladder.
On the way there we had to take some back roads because many of the bridges had been flooded out. One of the roads was very bumpy and the 1ton suspension on my truck was bouncing all over since she wasn't loaded down.
Then she gasped and stuttered. Eventually died. :mad: Started up and died. Started up and gasped and stuttered and slowly started to run fine again. No problems for the rest of the night. :confused:
What happened? My only guesses are...1) The gas got shook up and air got in line...2) The float got shook up and messed up the metering.
Are either of those plausible? Anyone else ever notice this? (292 with 1 barrel/rochester)
