Hey Brad "the heater guru":

There is a collar on one of the defroster outlets on the heater in your pic. Do you know if one of the defroster hoses for the heater in your pic is larger diam than the other? Does the larger defroster hose go over the collar in the pic?

The driver's side defroster vent on my '54 with Fresh Air heater has a larger port than the passenger vent. The ports on the heater are both the size of the smaller passenger vent. I believe that my heater and defroster parts are all correct for my truck. Possibly the driver's side is larger to off set the longer hose to that side.

I used the smaller size hose on both sides of my heater. The hose goes over the passeger defroster port, and is jammed into the driver's defroster port. It's held so far.
