Add my name to the list of those that recommend that you DO NOT use any spacers. You change the dynamics of the wheel forces and it's one of those things that may hold for years and may snap all the studs at one time...no way of knowing until it happens.
Those rims want to be butt up against the drums to be properly mounted.
Tie rod rubbing is common in the incorrect rims.
Try calling Wheel Vintiques as they have dealt with a lot of this and may have a solution.
I run the stock 15" 8 LUG splits on my 3/4 ton.
