From what I can find opinions range from a waste of money to a decent boost in torque, hp, and mileage. A local FLAPS has a wall covered with these things and they sell quite brisk at a cost of $140 - $160. I took several out of the box and examined the pitch and form of the helix bore and I can duplicate it pretty easily. I’m going to make an aluminum pair and try them on my 235 in place of the regular spacers. I considered machining the helix down the throats of my Fenton intake but I think I’ll try the spacers first and go from there. I have a dyno appointment in 2 months so I’ll confirm results then.
