There is a special puller you can buy for pilot bearings, costs about $25 at harbor freight. If the pilot bearing is a solid one (not a ball bearing) you can pack the bearing hole with grease and then get a round piece of steel or bolt that will just go into the pilot hole and pound on it with a hammeer. The grease acts as a hydraulic media and will push out the bearing.
