As you and Bill noted, there were at least a couple different distributor terminal studs used on Advance-Design truck distributors (probably 3).
Here is the style that I think that Jerry describes. That type of stud started being used sometime in 1953.
The 1952 is most likely different. I have never seen the pre-1954 terminal stud for sale. Post a Parts Wanted ad in the Swap Meet. The way I have obtained parts for my 1954 distributors has been to buy used distributors in the Swap Meet. When you buy I used stud or distributor, ask for a photo of the terminal stud and nuts to make sure you get the correct pieces.
