Yes remove the glovebox (screws around the front edge just inside the door) and then you can get behind the radio grill. Once that is out you can start on the gauges. Most of the stuff is held on with small 1/4" nuts and screws. One of the joys of these years of trucks is folding yourself in half to work under the dash. The dash does not come off by the way it is a welded body panel, part of the cab structure.
