Usually there is a chart on the opposite side of the page with the float drop measurement and the float level setting. If this is a Rochester B, the float levelshould be 1 9/32". This means when you hold the air horn upside down, the top edge of the float should be 1 9/32" from the flat surface. When you turn it rightside up, the float drops down and it should then measure 1 3/4" from the flat surface .
