Members, I have a 54 3100 with a key starter, I have just put everything back together for a start-up.
My starter only engages every 5-6 turns of the key.... it Vrrrrooms each time and then engages and turns over like normal.
Is this the solenoid, or starter or both? How can I see which one is bad? Can the local FLAPS bench test it and see ?
Or did I install wrong and the alignment is off.
