i took some off a 292 bracket and they were very close to 7/8" long. i can get exact measurement if you wish. i have been going thru he** trying to get the right brackets to install a 292 in my 63. i got these off a old 292 and didn't think they are original but looks like they may be. i wonder is this pass side one you have exactly the same as the drivers side and the only difference is the spacers making up for all the bolt boles being in the same plane or is it shorter. the 230/250 ones are shorter and the bracket is flat and doesn't need the spacers. i know the perch is further toward the wheel and foward on that side and may allow for use of a longer bracket on the engine. i have both perch and mount bracket on pass side ordered and will compare when i get them. i would try to use close as possible spacer to original so it all holes will match up. i have read all sorts of info about v8's in front positions, v8's in rear, 4x4 in front, and bunch of other stuff. i never thought of looking in the manual. :rolleyes: i have quite a tendency to overlook the ovious. let me know i can get you any dimensions easily because they are off. someday i would like to read the hole story on what perches and mounts go with all combinations. hr
