Do a search hear on the board there have been discussions about adapters and I think that someone a wile back was having some made. Also Grigg narrowed the front axle for his 48, it takes advanced skill and should only be attempted buy the most skilled welders and no matter how good the job is done it best not show because I bet no DOT inspector anywhere would pass a front axle that was thought to have been cut and welded.
