Yes Tim, the engine end also uses the 1/8” double compression nut on both the ‘50 and ‘54. They use a double compression male connector 1/8” tube to 1/8’pipe thread in the block.
For the nut: Edelman #111200, Weatherhead #6100X2
For the connector: Edelman #112220, Weatherhead #6200X2
Now, ya got me goin Tim, although I’ve heared ya mention Fastenal many times on the Bolt I’ve never dealt with them before. I looked up there catalog and ordered some of the above mentioned fittings. Double compression nuts were .51c each, about a third of what they are at the auto parts. And while I’m at it I went ahead and got some of the same fittings in 3/16” for the feed thru oil lines cuz I’ve got a couple of blocks that need them.
