Welcome ballo4. You cannot put hydrolic lifters on a solid lifter cam. The ramps on the cam lobes are cut differently. This will wear out the cam or the lifters in a hurry. If you change the cam and lifters over to hydrolic it is nessary to make sure the block is set up for hydrolic lifters, some of the blocks did not have oil gallerys for hydrolic lifters.
This probably adds to the confusion but you don't need to have a bunch of metal floating in your oil. That could ruin your day. I am sure some of the outhers will weigh in soon.
