Would help a lot. Restored 1947/55 Chevrolet 1/2 tons generally run between $12,000 -$35,000 with the median price around $15,000 - 19,000 depending on originality and the quality of the restoration. I have seen beautifully restored trucks go for $13,000 - $15,000 in this market.
If the undercarriage needs TLC, I wouldn't be surprised if there are other areas that need it too. That's a lot of money in this market.
