Will these automatics bolt up to this engine without the need for an adaptor? The reason I ask if this is because if this engine was ordered with a Powerglide, instead of a manual transmission, there was an adaptor that was used by the factory to accopmlish this. So anyone know if a modern automatic will bolt up to an older 283? Thanks! Rick | | |
