The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop '51 3100 block casting numbers

Hi
The G61 is on the block towards the bottom, on the starter side. It is just to the front of the CON3.
Does it make a difference if it is on the block?

I looked at the link you sent for the casting numbers and came away only slightly less confused than when I started and that is why I posted my question.
