Hy 62ChevC60, I believe your alternator is a 6.2 perforated stator delcotron. There were numerous regulators made for these, both transistorized and mechanical. Could you post a picture of your regulator? There is a spade terminal regulator from the mid to late 60s that could be used to regulate this alternator, using this regulator only requires two connections, one from the ignition switch to the number three terminal, and one from the "F" terminal to the field connection at the alternator, hope that helps.
