I wouldn't want to raise my box floor either. Just got my latest copy of CCT, and there is an article about replacing the original front suspension with a Fat Man IFS on a 73-87 C-10. It says that the original front crossmember is held in place with 14 bolts. What's the chance that I could remove my axle and springs, and install a 73-87 crossmember and suspension? That would give me the suspension and steering geometry I need, without the cost of a new IFS
