I am in my fourth summer driving my rebuilt 57
http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/reay_russell_1957.html and its shortcomings are getting annoying. LOTS of road noise, and it does not handle as easily and surely as I would prefer. I could invest megabucks in IFS and major drive train upgrades, but it seems that moving the 57 body onto something newer would be no more expensive, and would accomplish the goal. I search this page for S10 frame swap, and got pretty deep into a thread about AD to S10 swap until the AD Engineering site says they only do 47-54 swaps-no advice about TF or newer. Any recommendations for something like 1970s -1990s C10, Blazer, etc ??
