I don't want to give ya'll the impression of being a butthead! lol I'm very friendly and like Casper the friendly Ghost, I just want to make friends! ; )
I had a talk with my husband over dinner a little bit ago, and I told him, in order to put AC/PS on this 230 is going to be difficult, look strange, only to later install a V8/AOD would be kind of dumb, and not a wise choice by any means. He kind of gave me the OK to do what I want(within reason monetarily). I think I may have my '57 Belair sold(I hope I hope), then I'll have the funds to talk to my engine builder to see what he can come up with. He should be able to build me a sbc for a reasonable amount, then find a AOD (700r?)or whatever everyone is doing.
Then once the motor is out, I can redo the engine bay. Of course one thing always leads to another in sequences/opportunity to upgrade while the motor is out>Power steering gear/steering column,ie.. So, maybe this would lower the front end just a tad? I had installed a 2" lift in the rear; I thought it sat a little low. I don't want a low rider.
