the solution for fixing hashed non-original modifications is pretty much a one-off deal that depends on your skills, knowledge and material at hand, I don't recall anyone here ever discussing installing a 230 or 250 into a task force series truck

can't really tell from your picture just what's there, but the 230 may be designed for a mount plate across the front that mounts to the frame at 2 points, or maybe at one center point .... my advice is to check around wrecking yards to find a truck with a 230 and get the correct mounts for it and work away at doing whatever it takes to adapt them to the 59 frame .... the original 59 engine mounted off the sides near the front, into the large hole visible under the alternator in your 1st pic, a hole must have been drilled for that single mount bolt, maybe his drill bit broke wink
