Two questions actually.
216 Engine:
1) should I use a sealer of some type on the intake/exhaust manifolds?
2) Last time I assembled the manifolds, tightening both to the block before tightening them together, I still seemed to not have the greatest seal. If only the gaskets were thicker. So I have two nice sets of manifold gaskets for the truck. Anyone ever double up with two sets for a thicker gasket? Would I need a sealer between the two? What sealer will hold wup well to this kind of heat?
