I painted the interior of my truck with PPG Omini base-coat and then clear-coat. Unfortunately I didn't take the doors off and now, as I'm ready to paint the exterior, I did remove the doors. I notice the pillars and door surfaces on the hinge side are not the best. I would like to re-do them. The question is, do I need to completely remove the clear-coat before touching up the base-coat, or can I scuff the clear-coat, and then base-coat and clear-coat on top of that? Thanks.
