atomarc 'Bolter A Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 Eureka, CA	Melvin L Hardin, My thought would be the float level. If you aren't real savvy with carburetors, this can be a touchy setting. If it is too low, it probably won't idle worth a hoot. I think the directions show how it is done..with gasket in place maybe? Stuart
