I have a 235 with the 216 water pump and adaptor in a '52 3100. I am just wondering if I should see the water moving across the radiator once warmed up like a modern engine? It certainly ran long enough to open the thermostate but no obvious circulation. The thermostate could be bad and not opening, but then she would overheat. That doesn't appear to be happening. Maybe just take out the thermostate and check or just run it and check periodically out on the road. Suggestions?
