Don't recall a casting number right of the starter. Believe there was just a "GM". Can't look, it is in a pile of junk engines behind a machine shop and closed for the weekend. Pretty well figure it must be a 54 and will not have the 42-53 flywheel that I am looking for with a 10 3/4 inch clutch. The search continues.
