Don't give up on the 250 etirely, if it came out of a pre 73 truck the bellhousing will match up with the existing crossmember rear mounts. For the front, you can purchase a tubular(side)mount kit that is used for V-8 conversions from various suppliers (Truck Shop, Brothers, etc). Your trans should also bolt up but check the center hole of the bellhousing vs the diameter of the front bearing retainer. Fred
