Any known reason not to use this stuff?
It's good stuff, but unless you're a professional plumber, a 16-ounce jug of it will still be around when your grandkids are working on the stovebolt truck they inherited from you. A little goes a long way. Super 300 is much more versatile, and it's available in a 4-ounce container. PTFE (Teflon) didn't exist when Super 300 was invented, so old fogies like me stick with what we have been using for 40-something years. Either one will work great for your purposes.
