Since your going to have the cluster out you may want to take the advice given earlier and bench test it.
I did get the ohm's resister's from radio shack.
Once I fixed the grounding problem I had. I tested it on the bench
1 ohm 10 ohm 20 ohm 30 ohm Sound like it is a grounding issue. wouldnt hurt to test to make sure there are no other issues.
