As i'd mentioned earlier, it was used in some of the early '50s cars. I just changed over my Suburban to that type for the "coolness" factor and convenience of not always have to dig for the keys to go somewhere.
Iv come to build up a collection of the old ign. switches over the years,,along with a key cutting mach. and abt. 150 different keys. Ahhhhh, the crap we accumulate to work on our old trucks.......
