62 was the last year of the 235s. As long as your going to change it anyway... why not a 261? It is still a bolt in change, and will make your 57 a pleasure to drive. There are some small things you may have to do to accomplish the swap... example: the 60-62 235s used a hydralic clutch you would have to use your 57 bellhousing and clutch linkage.
