The column was a swap-meet special so I didn't remove it from the original donor.
I assumed the two sides were for the feed and ground of the circuits.
I'll get back into the garage tonight and check.
The switch is definately being moved OK by the selector and I know there is a small amount of adjustment by rotating the switch on the column.
